Managing abandoned calendar events can be challenging, but with gPanel, the process becomes straightforward. This guide explains how to identify and delete abandoned calendar invites using gPanel’s reporting and bulk operations tools.
Step 1: Creating the Abandoned Calendar Events Report
- Visit gPanel and log in.
- Navigate to the “Reports” section, then click “Add” in the upper-right corner.
- Name your report and choose "Abandoned Calendar Events" from the report type dropdown.
- Select a date range for the abandoned events you want to target.
- Choose a location to save the report.
On the next page, select the columns for your report. You can:
- Check the boxes next to columns and click “Add Selected.”
- Hover over a column and click the plus sign.
- Add all columns at once by selecting “Add All.”
Next, target specific users or groups:
- Click “Users” to add individuals or all users.
- Choose “Groups” or “Organization” to focus on specific teams or units.
- You can also select by domain.

Add email addresses to notify team members, or receive a notifying email yourself.
Click submit to generate your report and a pop-up will appear with your link to access it. Review your report to ensure it covers the dates and events you want to remove, before moving onto step two.
Step 2: Deleting the Abandoned Calendar Events
Once you've reviewed the report, follow these steps to delete the events:
- Return to the main gPanel menu and select “Tools” followed by “Bulk Operations.”
- Name the operation and choose “Abandoned Calendar Events” from the dropdown.
- Upload the report file you generated earlier.
- Optionally, add email notifications for when the process completes.
Click “Submit” to run the bulk operation. gPanel will remove the selected abandoned calendar events across your Workspace.
