What’s Changing

We are releasing a new permission called "Can View Documents." This feature will allow administrators to prevent certain users from viewing their organization’s documents, giving administrators more control and visibility over their Workspace environment.

Why It’s Important

Workspace admins need to be aware of all domain-related activities to ensure data security and enforce policy compliance.

gPanel’s new permission, “Can View Documents,” makes it simpler to enforce document privileges. Admins can now prevent certain users from viewing documents based on organizational policies.

Rollout Pace 

• Deployed to gPanel Standard and  Enterprise on October 16,  2023.

Availability 

• Available to gPanel Standard and Enterprise customers. 

• Not available to gPanel Starter customers.
