Route Three Digital — a SinghBull Ventures company — is a digital marketing agency founded by Sharmila Singh and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

In their pursuit of innovation, Route Three Digital partnered with Promevo to streamline and enhance a document processing workflow that is central to their operations.

The Challenge

One way they do this is by conducting franchise candidate interviews and compiling that information into a Personal Franchise Strategy document that entrepreneurs can then use as a roadmap on their professional journeys. 

The interview and document-creation process was incredibly time-intensive, often taking the Route Three team upwards of 10 hours to complete just one report. This created a bottleneck in their workflow and hindered operational efficiency. 

Route Three Digital decided to engage Promevo to help them develop a solution that would streamline their workflow and decrease the amount of time each team member spent per Personal Franchise Strategy document. 

They needed a solution that seamlessly integrated into their existing system, simplifying the process and improving the final output. They also needed a tool that was user-friendly for all team members. 

The Solution

Promevo led a workshop to thoroughly understand their requirements and identify the best tools and strategies. 

This workshop involved:

• Reviewing the Document AI lifecycle and establishing success criteria.
• Mapping out the current document process and identifying technical requirements with subject matter experts.
• Whiteboarding the solution architecture and outlining decision points, action items, and a project roadmap.

Based on these insights, we recommended Gemini 1.5 Pro within Google Cloud's Vertex AI. 

We then created a detailed roadmap for an AI-powered tool designed to process three separate documents (two PDFs and one Word document), compile the information, and generate a comprehensive Personal Franchise Strategy document.

The Outcome

The implementation of Gemini 1.5 Pro transformed Route Three Digital's document processing workflow, reducing the time required to create a Personal Franchise Strategy document from 10 hours to just 1 hour — a tenfold increase in efficiency. 

This streamlined process not only boosted operational efficiency but also enhanced the accuracy and detail of the documents, fostering greater trust with franchise candidates.
