Using Gemini with Meet, you can select the "Generate a Background" prompt to create background images using artificial intelligence. For example, you can ask Meet to create an illustration of a forest for your background. This integrated feature is an excellent way for teams to collaborate and communicate as they work together during meetings.

Currently, this feature is available on desktop. In your self-view, your background will appear mirrored or inverted, but other participants will see the proper orientation.

Translated Captions

Gemini allows you to turn on captions and view subtitles while fellow team members talk during a meeting. These captions are turned on only for you, and you can use captions to translate to or from specific languages.

This feature is perfect for teams spread out around the world or teams that need to bridge communication gaps. With this feature, you can bring your team closer together than ever before.

It will also be able to get latecomers up to speed with “summary so far,” which gives a quick snapshot of everything they’ve missed. 

Finally, the tool will offer an "attend for me" feature, allowing Geminito attend your meetings for you and capture any relevant insights you need.
